  5. Purchase whole nuts, some time some pieces of shell can be missed so it is important to spread the nuts out on a tray and inspect them. The shell is easier to find if not chopped.

  8. Toasting the nuts will freshen the flavor and enhance their texture.

  11. Any variety of nuts can be used if you favor one over the other.

  14. If you want to add some more flavor to the cream. You can add 1/2 tsp. with vanilla extract and 1 tbsp. icing sugar.
